Granted this is only Nintendo Japan and we’re not sure if it’ll take effect in the States yet (we can assume it will), here are a list of 3DS games users will be able to download for free due to the 3DS’s poor performance in sales;

- Kirby & the Amazing Mirror
- Mario Kart Advance
- Mario vs Donkey Kong
- Metroid Fusion
- Wario Land Advance
- Made in Wario

It’s now video game history: after the 3DS didn’t sell as well as expected, Nintendo decided to go for a sudden, massive price drop for its portable console worldwide. In Japan, for example, theprice fell by 40% from 25,000 yen to 15,000 yen. Later, Nintendo president Satoru Iwataapologized to buyers and promised a bunch of free games for early adopters, no matter where the device was bought.

 

Much appreciated dudes who bought a 3DS before  I got one as a present – hopefully you just scored me some pretty solid Nintendo titles.

Now when are they going to release something like this on 3DS? That’s when that Nintendo shop would really come in handy.
